Felt Ill . . . Feel Better(ish) Now

I came over feeling all queasy and odd yesterday evening - like I’d either got a virus, or been poisoned. I tried some whey protein powder yesterday, and I’ve the feeling it’s disagreeing with me. So [once again] missed my swim session.

Looking on the bright side though, I think I may have been due for a rest day . . . and I feel a whole lot better for having had an early night too.

The rest of this week’s going to be tough though. We’re down visiting Tall Friend at the weekend, and if I’m to score my minimum target for bike miles, the weather (you wouldn’t believe the wind & rain combination that’s forecast) and my schedule are both against me. Hence the 05:40 alarm clock to get me up & at ‘em for an 06:45 spin class. I’ve not booked, but hopefully there’ll be space at this time of year, so long after those New Years’ resolutions have faded into the past!
