Hawk, Baracuda AND Phil Too
It’s looking like being a busy end to this week, so before I forget, I wanted to wish these three ‘good luck’ for the weekend:
- Phil Sabin’s riding the Courage Classic in aid of the Rotary Endowment for the Intervention and Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. With all that training he’s been doing on his Harley, the four days in the saddle of a real bike is going to make it’s mark on him!
- Hawk & Barracuda (a.k.a. The Triathlon Sisters) are doing their first triathlon - the all-female Tri For A Cure in aid of breast cancer - it’s in Denver on Sunday. Of course, Hawk & Barracuda are their blog names - not their real names. I was kinda disappointed when I found this out, as I’d got a vision of hippy parents giving their daughters seriously cool names!
Three people spending this weekend doing something worthwhile - have a great time of it.

I was a bit sore after riding by motorcycle all the way to Ocean Shores. I tried telling Lisa that riding a motorcycle uses your core, so it must be a good workout. She pointed out all the other motorcycle riders who had over-developed cores. It took the air out of my argument.
I guess I might be suffering a bit this weekend.
Phil
And good luck to you Sir! Hebburn Tri only 3 days, 19 hours, 46 minutes, and 02 seconds away!
Karl! Good Luck this weekend!!!!
You go!
