Such a Beautiful Day
. . . . and I’m relegated to driving instead of cycling. It took me a whole half hour today to decide that my neck & shoulder really isn’t better, and I should take Lisa’s excellent advice and rest it until I’ve been checked over by someone who
- Knows what they’re talking about
- Hasn’t got a vested interest in the “Wheeeeeeee!” endorphins released in my brain when I’m cycling
- Can take a rational, pragmatic view
- Did I mention that they know what they’re talking about?
That all said, I AM going out for a short jog now. It’ll only be two miles, and the pace’ll be good and easy, with the option to bail out at any time. And Daughter’s coming along on her bike to give encouragement, which’ll be just fabulous!

Good plan. Enjoy your run with your daughter.
I love runs when my son comes along on his bike … although my son could talk for England and its hard keeping a decent pace and having to answer all his questions. But still great fun.
Have a great run!
Mike
. . . she rocks! Daughter wanted to go further & faster. But her OAP father needed to get home & rest up! I felt great at the end of the run, but pretty sore now, so limiting the distance was a good idea.
looks like someone inherited those tigger genes - like we didn’t know that already! hope you are feeling better - if not you need to take it easy as illness lowers you’re immune system and makes you more susceptible to injury. trust me i know this as i have my arm in a sling after a cat bit me this weekend and my hand swelled up to comic size (nope not mine they know better).
