Jane Tomlinson 1964-2007

I first read about Jane last year when she was taking part in the Race Across America. Jane was a remarkable woman who’s refusal to give in, and her drive to make something positive come out of her incurable cancer is something we can all learn from.

Any other words of mine wouldn’t do her justice - please visit janesappeal.com to read more.

She is very inspiring. I was born in 1965, so it’s very surreal that someone so young would have to deal with breast cancer.

Speaking of which - check out what Bill & his Goddess are doing this weekend - the HOW100.

Well, she’s riding, and for once, Bill’s the one handing out the refreshments, cheering and taking photos from the sidelines.

    :D

So sorry to hear about Jane’s passing. Not only is her’s a life cut short, but RAAM has always held a special place in my heart, ever since I thought I could do one.

Wow, she did some amazing things. It would be so hard not to give up in despair with a diagnosis like that.
If I lived in England I would do the run.
