Is that the time already?
A short, but relatively early run this morning with Shana. When the alarm clock went off, I did NOT want to get out of bed today - despite getting an early-ish night in yesterday.
Shana’s obviously starting to get a lot fitter - we kept up a pace of about nine minute miles, while keeping a conversation going. She’s also obviously got running now as a habit, and was asking about getting some proper clothes (her shoes seem OK for now), and I suggested that she goes to Start Fitness in Newcastle to get some breathables & microfibres to replace her cottons.
We finished with a sprint across the beach in Cullercoats harbour . . . which got me nicely warmed up & ready to go out on the bike
