The Stripper

The Stripper

I went running with Shana this morning. OK, so I know that I’m officially signed off by the Doc, but I took it really easy, and I honestly think that the cold morning air did me more good than harm. Speaking of the cold, Shana was somewhat layered up - hat, gloves, windstopper, etc. But...

500mg Amoxycillin, Three Times A Day

So I’ve had this head cold for the last MONTH. It’s just not gone away - seeming just to shuttle between my nose, eyes / sinuses, and throat. Bearing in mind that we’ve just had Christmas, so my training’s been way down (unless you count eating & drinking), this hasn’t been much of a problem....

And I Thought I Was Hard

I went to the gym this morning for the first cycling workout of the year - a spin class. I was expecting it to be really busy (seeing as its January), but there were only six of us + the coach. Which meant fewer places to hide - especially with the studio’s main lights...

Look Behind You!

It’s pantomime season, so the traditional reply to “Look behind you”, after a slow stage-tip-toed circle is “There’s no-one there, boys & girls!” However, 2007 is well and truly behind us now, so here’s my twopenn’th on how I think I did . . . Goals in the bag: Four out of Five: Returned for a second...

Shock News: North Sea Cold In January

So I wanted to start the New Year off as I mean to continue. High tide was at 09:30, and the sea pretty calm, so it looked like I’d get to swim across the harbour & back to celebrate the start of 2008. Om the down side, the moon’s about half full at the moment,...
