92 Miles a Day, For 195 Days . . .

Mike Beaumont - image from bbc.co.uk . . . will get you all the way round the world - 18,000 miles, passing through 20 countries. And you’d be setting a new world record for the fastest circumnavigation by BIKE.

This afternoon, Mike Beaumont from Fife is scheduled to ride into Paris, and into the record books after spending just over six months on the road. In that time, he’s:

  • Experienced floods
  • Been road-raged
  • Knocked off by a motorist who’d gone through a red light
  • Had his wallet & camera stolen from a motel room
