Penultimate Swim During Daughter’s Lessons
I’ve given up my gym membership! I originally signed up because I needed to be a member for Daughter to have her swimming lessons there with Swimtime (HIGHLY recommended), but they’ve now relaxed this rule, and I don’t have to be a member. I figured that I’m getting two good swim workouts a week at the NE31 Tri club . . . so why pay £50 a month extra? The weather’s stating to improve, so I won’t be going to any spin classes, and I just hate all those indoor machines anyway.
Membership expires next Friday at midnight, so I’ll have one more swim there next week during Daughter’s lesson. After that - I get to take a book, sit by the poolside, and keep half an eye on how well she’s doing, while I stay dry. It’ll also give me time to ponder what I can spend that extra £50 a month on . . . that’s £150 a quarter . . . £600 a year . . . .
