Cooldown Run

Following Brad’s advice, I went for a short run this afternoon when I got home from my ride. My legs felt pretty heavy . . . but the pace seemed pretty quick, according to the stopwatch. I did 6:28 for the first mile (WHAT?!) 4:29 (about 0.6 miles) for the middle section, and then 6:38 for the last mile, with one minute’s recovery between each of the three sections. Hmmmm not sure what’s going on here, though in last year’s sprint triathlons, I’d routinely clock 5k times of less than 20 minutes.

Perhaps bike-to-run just suits me?

Or maybe I need to go and check those distances again ;-)

Nice run! Yes, I’m thinking about a new name. I’m taking a couple weeks off running and will mull over some ideas.

    Very nice, Karl.

Definitely need to keep up those bricks. I suspect it’s not the distances.
