Running at Altitude III: So Tired!

I still had to do my daily run on Wednesday, even though Algernond and I had just been skiing across the whole of the Three Valleys. Somewhere around 30 miles or so on our skis, and somewhat less in various lifts along the way.

So I did an ‘easy’ road run - up towards Méribel in the dusk, for 12 minutes, and then back again. I wore my head torch - not to see the surface of the road (often icy), but to be seen by drivers. French drivers can be a little aggressive and surprised when they meet other cars in unexpected places (like, on the road), and doubly-so when it comes to pedestrians. Which is odd, as they’re courtessy personified when near cyclists.
