I’ve had an unusual week. Full of highs and lows. On the plus side . . .
My ride to work on Wednesday was just brilliant, despite the weather’s attempt to rain on that particular parade. And as I explained to the people from Sustrans - my skin’s waterproof.
On that ride . . . I saw [...]

So today was time for desperate measures - the experienced hands of [...]

. . . check out this great video, which is part of the Fat Cyclist’s 100 Miles of Nowhere challenge:

Summer’s here, and the mileage is going right up, so I’ve been forced out of ordinary clothes and into Lycra & it’s associated accessories.

This week saw spring doing it’s thing here. By that I mean it was cold, with lots of April showers.
Anyway, this photo from Marc over at Amsterdamize seems particularly apt for the sort of weather I wish we were having all day, every day - if only it were more like this!. See what you [...]

That’s the song by Arcade Fire that plays in my head when I’m riding and the sun is shining and everything seems just perfect.
Along similar lines, Yanek over at Bicyclog has put together this smashing vid, showing what a city can be like on days when no cars go. Enjoy!

On the way home tonight, I stopped off to buy some flowers for my Beautiful Wife. Outside the shop I saw this locked up – looks like maybe last year’s model of either the Focus Cayo 105 Tripple, the Cayo Ultegra, or at a push, the Cayo Pro.
