Is This A Safe Bet?

Walking to my hotel in Zagreb last week, I passed a betting shop with an unlocked bike outside it….
I’m not sure what sort of a market there is here for second hand bikes, but if you were a betting man / woman, would you want to put good money on this bike not getting stolen?
A little further down the street, I saw something to make me smile - a captive BMW:
I’m not sure what was going on - whether it was some sort of example being made of a bad car, or a prototype for some sort of safety device to keep dangerous objects away from people & bikes, or just some sort of art installation.
What was really strange was that when I walked past again a couple of hours later, the whole thing had vanished.
So maybe it was a car-sized version of La Cabina , and the trapped car had been removed to some vast underground facility full of similarly ensnared vehicles.
That’s what I’m hoping, anyway.
