Friday Caption Contest - Another Cycling Nun

This week’s contest is in two parts. Obviously you have to come up with a caption for this photo, but there’s also a multiple-choice question in case you can’t be bothered to think of anything creative but still want a chance of winning. Our prize this time is a week’s stay in the convent of your choice, and the photo that could win you this comes from clarkmackey on Flickr :

Multiple Choice Question: What’s odd about this picture?

  1. Nuns don’t ride choppers - the Papal Encyclical of 1978 denounces all choppers as ungodly. Though in truth this was referring to the Mk 1 Raleigh Chopper, with it’s centre-mounted stick shift, which was thought to be too much of a temptation to the Brides of Christ.
  2. The bus is both signaling AND further away than the regulation three inches from the bike.
  3. Cycling nuns always shave their legs, and this one doesn’t seem to have.
  4. Nuns don’t usually have an Adam’s Apple.
