Good Things I Saw While Riding Today

In no particular order for today . . .

Riding along and finding myself in the middle of a flock of flying seaguls. Thankfully none of them got too frightened

Watching the jackdaws gang up on a crow and "caw" him off the top of the lamp post

Dew on the rosehips

The family of swans on the river (this is starting to sound like twitchers annonymous)

The sun rising over the estuary

The lady who hung back and didn’t overtake me in Blyth, even though there was probably room to do so. She waited until there was definitely, definitely room.

The old lady with the very well looked after proper lady’s bike, complete with front basket

The fact that this morning was my fourth consecutive No-Foot Down Commute . That’s 60 miles, mostly through rush-hour traffic in-town, without stopping (I can’t do track stands - just not hip enough) once. :-D
