Friday Run
The mileage is about to start ramping up, as next week mark’s the start of my training plan’s Base 2 period. I wasn’t feeling too brilliant though, so I took half a litre of fluids with me, and a gel for the turnaround point - from now on all long runs are run / walk efforts, where I’ll be carrying fuel.
Overall, I was quite pleased with the pace, though I wish my iPod’s battery had lasted the course - it cut out just as I was getting into the beat of Dead Man’s Music, by Ludes. If you’ve never heard this, give it a go on iTunes - my description of it would be Ska, with a heavy dose of Eastern European chutzpah.
The iPod is now recharging!
