Half Ready
The biggest race I’ve ever done is a half Ironman - two years ago. Getting ready for this was like climbing a mountain, and I was astonished at the view from the top.
The full Ironman looks another order of magnitude bigger, and it’s easy to get freaked out by the size of the challenge. I’ve got 17 weeks to go though, and right now I’m feeling more confident than usual. I recon that right now, today, here, I could do a half ironman, and probably do it better than that last one I did.
And that Ironman in June is only twice as far.
