Sunrise Run

Something really strange happened yesterday. It wasn’t raining, and the sky was a really strange colour - blue. It just didn’t feel right to be running in such conditions, though looking onthe bright side, it was unbelievably cold. There were areas of the pavement where the waves had splashed up during the night, and this sea water had frozen.

On days like this you get to experience things that those still-a-bed would think themselves accurs’d they were not there - at my half-way point I turned a corner to face the sea and watch the sun rise while I ran across the silent, frozen clifftop fields.

Sometimes I just can’t believe how lucky I am!
