And a Cool-Down Run Makes 100 Miles

This felt odd - the sunburn was starting to come out, and I had just ridden 96 miles.

For the first mile, my knees felt sore, and I was actually quite worried that I’d done something bad to them. But after the walk for 60 seconds they were fine - no problems at all.

The only thing I had to deal with was running in bib shorts. Let’s just say they don’t provide the same kind of support that I normally get while running. Let’s just say that those over-the-shoulder braces hoist everything a little higher than is really comfy.

Let’s just say that I may have perfected the Iron Egg Technique .
