Add Your Own Voiceover
I’m behind - way behind. For example, there’s this video that was posted on Copenhagenize three weeks ago, that I’ve only just caught up on:
You don’t have to understand a word of Slovenian to get the gist of this - and believe me it IS worth watching or showing to your friends who don’t ride bikes. And for fun, you could even add your own voiceover. I’d recommend a proper Antione De Caunes’ Eurotrash effort - it’d make perfect sense with a Lancashire accent.
All this has got me eager for summer. Chances are that this year I’ll be heading off again to the Balkans for a few days teaching in June. Normally I fly via Heathrow to Zagreb, and then get the train across the country, but this year I’m thinking of taking the train the whole way. It’ll add an extra two days to the trip, cost a little more, but mean that I’ll get to cycle in London, Paris, Munich and Zagreb. I’m fairly sure that this was what Bromptons are made for!
