Bike Lock Fail
When I came out of the supermarket today, I noticed something odd about how the bike next to mine was locked up:

Initially I thought that the bike wasn’t locked at all. Then I realised that the liquorice-stick cable lock was looped around a single spoke.
Did you spot the other error though?

Yes, that’s right - the owner had also left the keys in the lock!
I was wondering what to do about this when the store manager came out. So I dragged him over to the bike rack and explained the problem before re-locking the bike (by the frame) and giving him the keys to take into the shop for the announcement over the tannoy system.
I have to admit that I have managed to “lock” my bike to a Sheffield stand before, only to notice that the lock wasn’t looped through the stand as I walked away. But this must surely take the biscuit?
