A Good, Working Definition of Insanity
Here are two bicycle quotes attributed to Albert Einstein:
“I thought of that [the theory of relativity] while riding my bicycle”
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving“
Meanwhile, this graph from At War With The Motorist got me thinking of another quote from the great man:
“Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.“
Unless things change in politicians’ thinking and the advice they receive in Whitehall, you can look forward to another forty years of this madness and its subsequent impact on your quality of life.

I 100% agree with this apart from 1 aspect, “Unless things change in politicians’ thinking” - This will never change - we need to change our politicians, and look beyong the 3 so-called ‘main’ parties for our future if we are to change. I have a saying that is very apt for this and is something I believe all voters should think before marking a ‘X’ on a ballot paper - ‘If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve already got’
I bet that even Einstein wouldn’t have thought of anything much on his bicycle while cycling with the hostile traffic on many of today’s roads. There is little time for relaxation or to allow one’s mind to wander. Like the rest of us, he’d be too busy watching the traffic and trying to stay alive.
